I am so stoked to see that one of my favorite colours ever is making huge waves in 2019 fashion. What I mistakenly refer to as “Mustard Yellow” is actually “Aspen Gold”, according to Pantone and their infamous Fashion Colour Trend Report. This spicy shade is a slightly deeper yellow with just a hint of orange; it is bright and sunny and is said to stimulate feelings of joy and good cheer . . . what a great mood to have as we look forward to summer being right around the corner! This seasonally appropriate shade has made its appearance in dozens of runways in 2019 including Brandon Maxwell, Self-Portrait, Oscar de la Renta, Karen Walker, Batsheva, Carolina Herrera, Boss, Escada, and many more. Luckily, you don’t have to be at Fashion Week to find this amazing colour right now. Heading inside Bower Place, this stunning hue is easily found in all shapes and sizes. You don’t have to wear a full jumpsuit in this bold colour, it makes for a great accent piece, so start small and build up.
