Help end period poverty
Period poverty in Canada is a very real and terrible crisis. One-third of Canadian women struggle to afford menstrual products according to a study done by Plan International.
The Body Shop has partnered with a local shelter, Safe Harbour, which provides emergency shelter programs, support, outreach, and housing services for those who are low income, homeless, and in need of help.
In support of Safe Harbour, The Body Shop is accepting menstruation product donations in-store. A sample of their best-selling products will be given to anyone who donates.
