Festival of Trees

A Welcome from Bower Place

Bower Place welcomed the beloved Festival of Trees this year on November 14 in a different kind of way.

With the current rise of COVID-19 cases in Alberta, the Festival of Trees has gone virtual. If you haven’t already, you still have time to stop by the previous Sears location from inside Bower and view the festive trees from a (social) distance.

The Tree Room can also be viewed online through Facebook Live every day from until November 28. Follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/rdrhfoundation to be notified when they go live, so you can get an up-close and personal view of the beautifully decorated trees.

View the auction catalogue and place bids online via any computer and mobile device at www.reddeerfestivaloftrees.ca/auction.

This year, they are offering the Christmas Jingle Cash Lottery with tickets available for purchase online at www.reddeerfestivaloftrees.ca/jingle. The top prize is $10,000 cash plus an early bird prize of $2,500 to be drawn on December 4. Ticket packages start at $10 and are available until December 18; final draws on December 23.

The proceeds from this year’s Festival of Trees will support the transition to an electronic system of fetal monitoring (EFM). For more information on this project and to find out where to donate, check out their website: https://www.reddeerfestivaloftrees.ca/about.

Thank you to our valued guests for showing support for the Festival of Trees.

Marketing Coordinator

Maia is a classic Central Albertan gal who KNOWS her way around Bower Place . . . she grew up exploring it! If she’s not scouting the best of The Great Indoors, she’s probably strapping on her hiking pack to escape to the mountains or grabbing her cowboy boots (she’ll never say “no” to a rodeo). She has a love of free-spirited 70s vibes including eclectic accessories, bright colours, and fun patterns.
