This decision follows a partnership with Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre in 2023, during which Bower Place successfully raised an impressive $31,243.15 to support the organization’s commendable efforts in aiding children with special needs, their families, and the communities that surround them. For nearly 60 years, United Way Central Alberta (UWCA) has been dedicated to fostering thriving communities in Central Alberta by actively listening to local voices, collaborating with citizens, agencies, and businesses, and strategically investing donor dollars into impactful programs. UWCA”s current focus areas of ensuring access to Basic Needs, increasing availability of Mental Health services, and fostering Brighter Futures reflect its commitment to adapting and meeting the evolving needs of Central Albertans through strong community partnerships.
