Red Hot

I am absolutely, unapologetically a fair weather girl! Unfortunately, I don’t have a fabulous beachfront villa with ocean views in the Turks and Caicos . . . yet. Nope, I live in Central Alberta where the temperature fluctuates from -5 to (yikes!) -35 on any given day in February. How’s a girl to cope? Well, at times like this when sandal season seems way too far away, I try to find solace in all things cozy.

Speaking of “cozy” . . . did I mention how warm and comfy Bower Place is? The vibe here is literally that of a rustic cabin in the woods complete with . . . fireplace!

That reminds me . . . on today’s agenda: stopping by Starbucks, grabbing a hot chocolate (with whipped cream) and then sitting fireside while contemplating all those Spring fashion trends on the horizon. Afterwards, I may even stop to pick up a cozy pair of pajamas to wear on those days when it is just too cold to move . . . in our house we call those, Pyjama Days . . . some of the warmest, laziest, most loving days of the year.

Now, that actually doesn’t sound that bad . . . maybe I can make it until Spring!
